That’s why I am running to represent Commerce City, Brighton, and Thornton (District K) on the RTD Board. I believe our transit system should work for people helping families get to jobs, schools, and services while supporting more housing choices and walkable neighborhoods. I grew up in Commerce City and know firsthand the challenges when buses don’t show up or the system doesn’t feel safe.
We don’t need career politicians who have spent the last decade working on these issues only for them to get worse, we need leaders focused on fixing the system: not their next political office. On the RTD Board, I’ll fight for practical, common sense solutions: more frequent buses and trains, a safer experience, and a system that puts riders first.
It’s time for RTD to work for everyone.
